If you need to make a claim for a Motor or Habitation issue, our Underwriter is Autoguard Mbi.
Please have your Contract Reference or your Vehicle Registration-VIN to hand when calling
You can:

The specific issue or malfunction affecting your vehicle.
A Motor or AWS workshop of your choice can diagnose and estimate a repair or replacement of the failed component
Your Contract Reference or your Vehicle Registration Mark (VRM) or a Caravan VIN number
For Motor Section claims, please use a VAT-registered commercial garage of your choice.
This can be:
• A workshop you already know and trust
• A specialist garage, which you can find by searching online for
“Fiat-Mercedes-Ford etc specialist garage near me”
Your warranty cover allows for an hourly labour rate of up to £75 + VAT, which covers the majority of workshops.
If you choose to use a main franchise dealership, a higher hourly rate may apply, and you’ll be responsible for paying any difference.
Motor Section Issues
For Motor Section claims, please use a VAT-registered commercial garage of your choice.
This can be:
- A workshop you already know and trust
- A specialist garage, which you can find by searching online for
“Fiat specialist garage near me” or similar
Your warranty cover allows for an hourly labour rate of up to £75 + VAT, which covers the majority of workshops.
If you choose to use a main franchise dealership, a higher hourly rate may apply, and you’ll be responsible for paying any difference.
Habitation Issues
For Habitation Section claims, you can choose any AWS-approved workshop, whether fixed or mobile, and whether VAT-registered or not, near to you.

Important Notes
- Engineer Aftercare cannot arrange, manage, or intervene in any claim.
- Claims cannot be paid retrospectively. Please ensure your claim is registered and you have received an Authority Code from Autoguard before authorising any repairs.
- Claims made and settled while in the European Union will exclude locally paid taxes.
- There is no excess to pay on any approved claim.
